Hello there!
Are you a solo act or band? Are you good at entertaining a room full of people? If you can answer YES to all the above then WE want to hear from YOU! This is an invitation for you/your band to perform at MMUsic Society's Merdeka Day Concert. The concert will be held on Tuesday, 30th of August 2005, 8pm till midnight. The venue will be at Main Hall, MMU Melaka Campus. This date is, however, subject to change. No worries though, we'll inform you ASAP if there are any changes. We are very sorry for the late invite, but we hope that you/your band will be able to participate in this concert. Each performer will perform 2 songs. You are allowed to perform your own/cover songs. The choice of songs is up to you, but please bear in mind that this is a Merdeka Day Celebration. Therefore, please choose appropriate songs. We are looking for sounds that appeal to a wide range of people, so trip-hop Nazi-inspired death metal is unlikely to get listened to! We hope that you can get back to us ASAP. Preferably by Friday night, 19th August 2005 as we need to confirm the participating bands & print flyers/posters for the concert. Hey you guys. In the midst of midterms and everything, we have decided to lift our butts again, and hold another meeting to discuss upcoming events. Details are below:
